Mika Sellens is a music producer, songwriter, mixer, and creative practitioner working with sound and music from London, UK.
Mika has worked in LA and Nashville in the US, had tracks playlisted on BBC Radio and synced to TV. Mika’s path into music production and songwriting began playing in bands and then as a solo artist, starting her own label, Little Doll Records and producing her first EP.
Mika has worked as a sound artist and regularly displayed installation work in gallery shows around East London. She has also worked extensively in contemporary dance and theatre, creating electroacoustic soundscores and sound designs.
Mika studied Music at Goldsmiths and has an MA in Sonic Arts from Middlesex University.
Mika is an experienced educator with an SFHEA and is a professor of Electronic & Produced Music at Guildhall School of Music & Drama (GSMD).
Mika is a Board Director of The Ivors Academy and was an Executive Director of the Music Producers Guild (MPG) 2022-2024.
