Music / Sound for Dance
Mika Sellens has written numerous soundscores for contemporary dance pieces. The bulk of these have been with choreographer Meghan Flanigan, a collaboration which began in 1999, and which grew to form the company 5thirds Projects with other regular collaborators. Over the course of eleven years, six pieces were created and performed by the company at numerous venues including: The Place, Laban, Chisenhale Dance Space, Greenwich and Docklands Festival, and collaborative research projects at Chisenhale and The Place.
