Back Home EP
In 2007 Mika released her Back Home EP on her label, Little Doll Records. Launched at The Spitz, London and promoted with a mini-tour, Back Home EP contained four songs. Recorded on a shoestring with minimal resources, Back Home EP was Mixed by John Rose at The Way studio, London, UK. It was mastered by Svante Forsback at Chartmakers, Helsinki, Finland.
Other musicians who played on the EP were Sam Taylor (Cello and Acoustic Guitar), Anssi Vaxby (Double Bass), and Amelia Grenfell (Violin).
“”Back Home” [is] an ep that showcases an artist that obviously knows her lyrical craft. Mika’s not just a sing your diary style of songwriter. As well as writing fine words, she’s also a pretty good tunesmith. The songs are well performed and have a sense of ease about them…Mika Sellens is a talent and deserves to be heard.” FATEA
